We are a team of dreamers and doers
who are working towards seemingly utopian ideals. Our first aim is to work towards a society that is free of exploitation, injustice and poverty. A tough ideal, but we started our NGO, Talaash Association. We saved women and children from human trafficking and changed lives. We continue to do it day in and day out.
Talaash Association is a national Human Rights Organization of India
Working to protect & promote the rights of women & children. Our vision is to establish a society free from discrimination, exploitation, injustice and poverty; where every child and woman can live with dignity and their human rights are respected.
A day at the office can mean many things to us
Many people, different level of education and different cultural background are working together to achieve the same goal, after all, we are a family. A day could mean saving a life from the threat of Trafficking in Persons, counselling to a victim of domestic violence, placement in school for the child who dropped out, or finding funding for vital supplies for children during an emergency, or dedicating each day to efforts to protect unwed mother as a potential result of rape. All we are making stories of tomorrow’s potential change-makers.
The organization’s vision is that its pledge bound to work relentlessly towards establishing a society free from discrimination, injustice, poverty where every child and woman can live with dignity and their human rights are respected. The missions are; • To strengthen partnership with Govt., national-international development agencies (NGOs)/partners as well as Corporate Bodies to bring large scale sustainable positive change in situation of political, social and economic vulnerability; and • To empower marginalized women and children (margin by socially, politically and economically)
We work across India, HQ located at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
To prevent Trafficking in Persons, we work closely with our counterpart NGOs in countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Lebanon. Our network extends to Netherland and USA based humanitarian organizations.
